Access to Sendai - Access to Conference Venue

You can fly direct to Sendai from major Japanese cities (except Tokyo), and from Seoul, Taipei, Beijing and Shanghai.
From Tokyo you can get to Sendai by train. Please use the diagram below to get to Sendai from Tokyo.
The conference will be held at Sakura Hall, on the Katahira campus of Tohoku University. It is a 15 minute walk from Sendai station.
There are many hotels to choose from; some suggestions are below. These have been chosen mainly for their proximity to the university and mostly lie in an area to the west of Sendai station and south of Aoba Dori street. From these hotels you can walk to the conference site in 15 minutes, or less. The list is in alphabetical order.
Note that TMRC does not endorse or have a relationship with any hotel accommodation provider.
